Each mural is different and the process always varies. However, it can be helpful to generally know what to expect. Here is a sample run-down of how the process can look:

Please include the size of your wall and your proposed timeline (and any other details that feel relevant).

Contract Signing
I will send you a contract to sign. Upon signing the contract a 50% deposit is due.

For local murals we will arrange a time to visit the wall together. This gives us an opportunity to take measurements and determine any other environmental factors like wall condition, etc.
Design Process
We will go through up to 2 rounds of mural design and feedback before deciding on the final design.
Time to Paint!
This is the fun part. I will be sure to take document the process thoroughly with photo and video.
Each mural is signed. Outdoor murals are sealed for weatherproofing.
Final payment of 50% is due upon completion of the mural.
Enjoy!
Woohoo, we just did something big! Time to share the news and celebrate.
F.A.Qs
How are murals created?
Murals can either be painted directly on the wall, or they can be created off-site and installed as permanent fixtures. Off-site murals are created using a synthetic material called “parachute cloth”. Murals painted on parachute cloth are durable and stay colorful for decades even in direct sunlight. Because these murals are painted in the studio, they can be painted year-round despite weather conditions and be transported anywhere.
How much does a mural cost?
Various factors go into the pricing of a mural. The cost is determined based on the size of the wall, the level of detail, and materials costs. I am flexible and can work within a fixed budget to make your vision come to life!
Do you only work locally?
Nope! Traveling to create art is one of my greatest joys!
Do you do any community engagement?
Public art can make a major impact on the local neighborhood, so it’s important to get community input on public murals. This process can include creating spaces for constructive public dialogue and hosting community paint days.
What kinds of clients do you work with?
I have worked with private businesses, organizations, home-owners and schools. We take on projects of all sizes, from small interior murals to large outdoor public murals.
Who works on the murals?
The best murals are often a team effort! Small scale murals are usually a one-woman show (me, Sharon!) However larger scale projects it’s necessary to work with a team. In that case, local artists are hired to help paint and install murals.
