What is the Color Collaborative?

The Color Collaborative is a beautiful shared art space where local artists can grow their art practice together. We believe that art grows in unexpected and beautiful ways when we open our practices to new people. Our goal is to lift up local artists spiritually, emotionally, and professionally.

How much does membership cost?

All memberships are billed on a monthly basis

Membership Cost:
Sliding Scale: $100-120/month

What can I expect from artist co-working?

Drop in anytime from 1-5pm on Sundays (excluding holidays). Bring your current project and any materials you might need (aside from basic materials that we provide). Grab a spot at the table, or on an easel and get making! We’ll play some music and enjoy each other’s company. You are welcome to chat or totally zone in on your project.

Who is co-working for?

Co-working is for creative adults of any race, gender, or identity. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly space.

We also welcome your varying talents. Feel like writing, sketching, and knitting one day? Whether you make visual art, writing, coding, marketing, etc! We humans are multi-faceted - your variety of interests adds so much to our community.

What happens during art shares?

Art Shares are 1-2 hour sessions where members share their works in progress and we cheer each other on. This is a chance for us all to get to know each other and learn about each person’s creative practice. We will have prompts for you to answer about your work, or you can freestyle!

It’s incredibly important as artists to have private and positive spaces to share our works in process. Many of us share on social media, but we are missing a consistent community of peers to share our less polished pieces. That’s where the inspiration for Art Share comes from. Your process is fascinating and we want to hear about it.

How does the online Community Work?

We use Slack to host our online community and process memberships. This is an easy-to-use app where you can connect with other Color Collaborative Members. There are chats dedicated to resource sharing, upcoming opportunities, and more.
