How fine art commissions work
Process
First thing’s first: Let me know that you’re interested in working together. 🙂
Kickoff Call
We will chat over the phone to discuss your ideas, vision, and story. This call usually goes in depth and lasts for about an hour.
All the details in writing
After we chat, I will send you an email with all the details including:
timeline
link to pay a 50% deposit
Time to paint!
Projects take anywhere from 3-12 weeks depending on the size and content.
As I paint I will take process photos that will be shared with you after the work is completed.
Signed sealed and delivered
I (literally) sign and seal the work for longterm life.
I will send your artwork insured via UPS.
Framing is available upon request. If we are shipping the artwork, it can be a lot cheaper and more efficient for me to send the artwork directly to a framer near you, rather than packing up a framed piece and sending it in a crate.
When you receive the painting, you will pay the final 50% payment.
