How fine art commissions work

Process

First thing’s first: Let me know that you’re interested in working together. 🙂

  • Kickoff Call

    • We will chat over the phone to discuss your ideas, vision, and story. This call usually goes in depth and lasts for about an hour.

  • All the details in writing

    • After we chat, I will send you an email with all the details including:

      • timeline

      • link to pay a 50% deposit

  • Time to paint!

    • Projects take anywhere from 3-12 weeks depending on the size and content.

    • As I paint I will take process photos that will be shared with you after the work is completed.

  • Signed sealed and delivered

    • I (literally) sign and seal the work for longterm life.

    • I will send your artwork insured via UPS.

    • Framing is available upon request. If we are shipping the artwork, it can be a lot cheaper and more efficient for me to send the artwork directly to a framer near you, rather than packing up a framed piece and sending it in a crate.

    • When you receive the painting, you will pay the final 50% payment.
